CON·SENS·US
explores the art of (sensory) agreement.

The practice was started by Eva Tremel and Thomas Körtvélyessy as a collaborative project in 2002 in public spaces in Rotterdam and subsequently in Arnhem in The Netherlands.

By infiltrating public spaces they created live-dance-events on the edge between pedestrian action and out-and-about theatre, each time re-relating the lines between art and daily life in a series of collaborative and sensory-based performances.

More realisations happened in Rotterdam (NL), Düsseldorf (D), Arnhem (NL), Budapest (HU), and New York City, with an ever growing network of participating local artists and spin-off pieces.

Many locations explored 'forgotten' spaces or those ignored by mainstream opinion, such as shopping centers, migrant-neighbourhoods, work and traffic areas etc.
