walking con·sens·us
a single instruction asking performers to walk together anywhere
they like in continuous optimum consensus with each other.
The score is created in the spirit of promoting the collective and
collaborative functioning of free individuals, encouraging to
engage in an ongoing dialogue with each other and the environment
around.
One variation of this score is planned as an
intermedia-adaptation for SKYTIME™ by choreographer-filmmaker
Elaine
Summers:
During the day live-images of the sky are projected onto the
performers, who are dressed in white, causing them to bring a bit
of the sky down to ground-level as they perform walking
con·sens·us. At night the same set-up can be repeated, but this time
with recorded projections of the day-sky.
