it need not be so -
to make a difference for a next time and
help reduce the load of violence &
destruction here's a
European initiative started in the
Netherlands.
A free search engine

protect your privacy by not storing
identifiable information about you (unlike
many other search-engines)
(NOTE 2013 : with all the scandals of
GOOGLE and the NSA such a
search engine may be very useful)
dance never happens in an empty space, but
under today's conditions, both locally and globally.
below is a selection of movements & campaigns
for a more sane existence on this planet,
alternative sources of information and
media-channels which don't get a lot of mainstream
attention yet. there are many, many more, just as
valid or even more valid ...
since the beginning
of this collection in 2007, much of it has been
continued on the links
that Thomas Körtvélyessy posted under his personal
profile on Facebook.

Schiphol,
like by now many other airports, contains
one of the ugliest aspects of contemporary
Dutch and European culture, which is a far
cry from anything 'humane' and in fact very
comparable to Guantanamo Bay:
People marked as "illegal migrants"
from all over the world are detained in
special prison-complexes indefinitely in
atrocious, i.e. 'privatised' circumstances
until a Dutch / E.U. court has decided on
their status, most likely deportation.
There are many such "Collection Centers" all
over Europe, but this is one of the more
openly hostile prison-like complexes.
In the night of 26-27 October 2005 eleven
people died in a fire in one of these prison
complexes. The Dutch goverrment blamed a
single person, an inmate, as their
scapegoat. Due to untiring effort of a.o.
Migrant to Migrant, the person has been
acquitted, but JOKE KAVIAAR, one of the
spokespeople, has been convicted by the
Dutch court to prison for allegedly inciting
violence.
"The Story of Stuff"
